Beckbury Tree Hinging

The scope of these works simply involved the placement of 6 large willows across the river, set perpendicular and wedged against healthy standing trees, staked and wedged into place and pinned as appropriate. An 8 tonne low ground pressure (LGP) long reach was used, due to the wetland nature of the ground, with a log grab attachment to position and hold the logs/trees and a chainsaw operator to cut and hinge the trees in to place.
